Bona Fide was the top-selling bull of the Express Ranches Fall 2023 Bull Sale and he was produced by the now deceased $300,000 valued half interest selection of Nowatzke Cattle Company and Maple Lane Angus elite multi-million dollar producing Angus dam who records the NUMBER 1 $Combined value index of active Angus dams born in 2014 or before and has become one of the breed’s most significant producers of herd sire sons.

Granddam is the $300,000 valued full sister to the ORIgen past breed registration leader, RB Tour of Duty 177 and she is the cornerstone of one of the breed’s top herd sire producing families.

A flush brother to Bona Fide sold half interest for $220,000 to top the 2023 Nowatzke sale when sisters to him sold for $100,000, $70,000 and, $70,000 to Vintage, Double Barrel and Jocko Valley with a third flush brother selling two thirds interest at private treaty for $40,000 with a $26,000 flush brother working for Ryan Hopson.

A maternal brother, BNWZ Bougie, sold for $165,000 to Riverbend and Spruce Mountain in the 2022 Nowatzke sale when maternal sisters to Bona Fide sold for $70,000 for half interest, $50,000, $45,000.

Another maternal brother, BNWZ Nobility, sold two-thirds interest for $110,000 to top the 2023 National Angus Bull Sale and his now-deceased maternal brother, Ingram Heisman 0566, was the $265,000 top seller at Ingram Angus in 2022 to Double Barrell and Kern Cattle and he has produced top selling progeny across the continent that include the new ORIgen sire DBA Noble Ruler.
