LMR Kazuki 770T is a half-sib to LMR Kenichi 807T and LMR Ichiban 810T (Deceased) as all three share the same dam, WKS Nakazakura, who is linebred to Dai 7 Itozakura, the great Japanese growth bull – ranked as the #2 Wagyu Bull in Kenichi Ono’s tome, Elite Wagyu of Japan.
Nakazakura, is considered to be a Foundation Wagyu, imported from Japan in 1994 as a calf – along with her mother, Nakagishi 5 – in 1994. 770T is a son of the high-marbling WKS Sanjirou by Michifuku out of the exceptional dam, Suzutani.
The great marbling sire, Shigekanenami, also figures in 770T’s pedigree and Shigekanenami is a founding sire of the Kumanami line of Wagyu, which produced not only his son Shigeshigenami, ranked by Ono as the #4 Wagyu Bull, but also Itoshigenami TF148.
This is a supreme example of great Wagyu lineage and Sanjirou’s genetic background suggests that he will have ideal meat production efficiency, with great meat quality, large REA, thick rib, and high yield rate.
In the 2017 LMCC Sire Performance Study, Sanjirou ranks 5th based on 14 imaged carcasses (30.15%) but it should be noted that there was less than 1% difference in IMF% between #3, #4 and #5 sires and TF148 and Yojimbo were 3rd and 4th.
Similarly, Sanjirou in that same study, was ranked #5 Sire for REA, but it should also be noted that less than 0.06”2 REA separate him from the #2 sire, LMR Masahiko 1250Y.
770T is a well-balanced sire - with only 52% Tajima bloodlines from the Monjiro line.
LMR Kazuki 770T has a balanced set of BREEDPLAN figures for growth and impressive carcass results.
